As we prepare to enjoy a long weekend, barbecues and time with family and friends, it’s important to remember that Memorial Day is a day of remembrance to honor those who died while serving in the U.S. military. In fact, the entire month of May is National Military Appreciation Month.

For each new membership throughout May, AcaciaTV fitness streaming service is making a donation to National Military Family Association (NMFA), a nonprofit that works to strengthen and protect military families. Members of military families who sign up this month receive a 35% discount on a membership to the channel, which offers more than 100 workouts to subscribers, including yoga, strength training, dance, barre, Pilates, abs and core, pregnancy and low-impact exercises, cardio, tai chi, kettlebell and other workouts, from top trainers like Kristin McGee, Deazie Gibson, Gerren Liles and Amanda Young.

“More than 75% of military families don’t live on base, and many of those families are living in rural areas where they don’t have access to a fitness center,” says NMFA executive director Joyce Raezer. “We are excited to work with AcaciaTV to give families access to hundreds of workout videos at a special, discounted rate.”

To sign up for AcaciaTV through NMFA, visit the website (us.acacia.tv) and use the code AcaciaMilitaryFamily. Subscriptions are usually $6.99 per month, $14.99 for three months and $49.99 for a year. If you’re not sure it’s for you, take advantage of the 10-day trial.

Happy Memorial Day! How are you celebrating?
