"For the first time ever, I'm trying out 40 days of yoga (it's currently day 21!). While initially this seemed daunting, I consider 30 minutes a day to be enough to get both a good stretch and the centering daily benefits of yoga while being short enough to fit into my schedule.
I decided to take this 40 days as a period to explore different types of yoga. Since I'm currently a student I'm trying to do it on the cheap, so I have subscribed to a variety of free vinyasa podcasts on iTunes and also did a free 14-day trial on YogaGlo, which allows you to filter classes by 20-minute to 90-minute time periods, and they offer a variety of styles of yoga.
I keep a little calendar on my wall as motivation. Even though life is busy and overwhelming it has been great to prove that you can set aside 30 minutes for yourself a day if it's important enough!" --Tory E., 33, New Haven, Connecticut
